For those of you coming across the bridge, please take Route 50 to Route 301 South. Continue South on 301 for approximately 7.33 miles and the Executive Suites will be on your right. It is important to RSVP your attendance as the space is a little smaller than our previous location.

This past Sunday, August 1, 2010, several MABA members met to plan our fiber and pen sale in November. Lots of great ideas were generated about how to promote and execute this upcoming event. Because the event is fast approaching and we had so many different ideas to pursue, the committee will meet again this month at the Executive Suites at 2901 Crain Highway, Upper Marlboro, MD on August 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm. We will discuss the venues for promoting this event, food vendor options, if we were able to secure low cost or affordable pen panels, additional fun events like 4-H children doing obstacles, and the promotion of products with fashion models. Our event occurs the weekend before Black Friday and we really want to promote it as a unique shopping venue.
If you are able to join us, please come. It is helpful if you can RSVP so we can set the room up with enough tables and chairs. Thank you.
