The Maryland Alpaca
Breeders Association (MABA) is a dedicated
group of alpaca owners, breeders, and
enthusiasts working together to provide
educational and marketing opportuntities
for residents of Maryland and surrounding
areas. Please browse our site or contact
our members for more information on
alpacas, investment opportunities, the
alpaca lifestyle, farms near you, and
lots more about alpacas!
The Maryland Alpaca Breeders Association meets in March, June and December.
Prospective members are encouraged to attend MABA meetings. Please contact us for information about the location and time of the next meeting. Details will be posted on the calendar page of the website as soon they become available.

As a MABA member,
you will benefit from friendships and
associations with other breeders and
alpaca enthusiasts in Maryland! You'll be offered first choice and reduced rates on MABA sponsored events, seminars and workshops. Choose between:

Full Farm Membership (Cost $85/year)
For any farm located in Maryland that owns alpacas - includes voting rights.

Associate Membership (Cost $60/year)
Located outside Maryland, with or without alpacas - does not include voting rights.
FREE WEB SITE LISTINGS FOR MABA MEMBERS!
All members of the Maryland Alpaca Breeder's Association are entitled to alpaca listings with each paid membership.
If you do not see your farm listing on the MABA web site, you must “Join” OpenHerd through their FREE Affiliate Program. This is a free, one-time step, and will provide an extra marketing feature for your farm. Simply go to www.OpenHerd.com FREE membership page and create your account. When you've completed this process, please notify Lisa Land (
), and she will activate your listing on the MABA web site.
